Submersible Mixer

Submersible Mixer is a submerged mixer that creates circulation in wastewater treatment tanks and basins, preventing sedimentation and stratification of the wastewater. It is suitable for reaction tanks, equalization (EQ) tanks, Anoxic/Anaerobic tanks and sludge holding basins. The waterproof motor can be installed underwater, and the impeller creates a Jet Flow current that distributes flow throughout the tank, reducing dead zones with low energy consumption. Wetted parts are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel.

Hyperboloid Mixer

Hyperboloid Mixer is installed at the tank bottom, with a hyperbolic impeller creating flow from the tank bottom up to the surface gently and thoroughly at low rotational speed. It uses low energy per water volume (low Watt/m³). The motor is located above the water, making maintenance easy with no submerged seals. It is suitable for Anoxic/Anaerobic tanks and large mixing tanks that require uniform mixing without inducing aeration.

Why does a plant need a general wastewater treatment system?

Every plant is required to have one, so wastewater meets the legal standards before it is discharged off-site.

What is the main equipment in this system?

Biological and aeration equipment such as MBBR, MABR, turbo blowers, diffusers, and surface aerators.

Is a screening stage needed before the biological tank?

Yes. Pre-treatment is required to remove solids and grease first — without it the system clogs and the micro-organisms cannot work properly.

Can this system treat every type of wastewater?

No. It suits general wastewater. Streams with concentrated chemicals, colour, odour, or high toxicity need an advanced treatment system or ZLD instead.

Does a general treatment system need a lot of installation space?

The footprint depends on the wastewater volume and the system design — Hydrosys can adapt the layout to fit your site.
