Industrial wastewater often carries heavy loads of solid waste, suspended solids, and grease. Sent straight to treatment, they add load, raise costs, and risk clogging.
Hydrosys designs, manufactures, and imports mechanical screens and grease traps that protect the main treatment system, cut clogging at the source, and extend equipment life.
Mechanical screens and grease traps remove oil, solids, and contaminants from wastewater before it reaches the main treatment system — reducing the load on that system and protecting the equipment from damage.
Captures solids and debris before wastewater enters the system. Models range from non-electric to fully automatic to suit each plant’s volume and wastewater characteristics.
Ultra-fine micro-bubble technology removes up to 95% of grease and 90% of suspended solids before water reaches the main treatment system.
Mechanical screens and grease traps designed per industry. 6 solutions built around wastewater characteristics, so you can choose what fits.
Captures debris and solids before they enter the system, protecting pumps and valves, reducing clogging, and extending equipment life.
Removes solids that build up on the screen, reducing clogging and keeping wastewater flowing steadily.
Separates solids with no odor nuisance, continuously and with automatic self-cleaning.
An automatic screen that delivers fine screening in a single step. Continuous, quiet, and easy to maintain.
A compact micro-bubble pump needing no auxiliary equipment, mixing air into the water in one pump to float solids out immediately.
Removes up to 95% of grease in a single step and up to 90% of solids, delivering cleaner wastewater to the biological stage.
Wastewater varies by industry, but separating solids, grease, and oil at the source is the foundation of effective treatment.

Equipment for preliminary & primary wastewater treatment, from mechanical screens to grease traps — flexibly selected and engineered around each plant's wastewater characteristics and requirements.

The Static Screen / Wedge Wire Screen is used for preliminary wastewater treatment, using gravity to separate solids from wastewater without electricity and with no moving parts. It is made of SUS304 stainless steel wedge wire screen, with selectable slot openings of 0.25–3.0 mm, supporting a maximum flow rate of approximately 270 m³/hr. It helps reduce TSS and protects pumps and valves in the treatment system.

The Rotary Screen (External Fed Rotary Drum Screen) is a rotating drum screen for continuous and automatic separation of fine solids from wastewater. It uses a stainless steel wedge wire screen with openings of 0.25–3.0 mm, supports wastewater with high oil or grease content, and comes with a scraper blade and water spray system to help reduce clogging.

The Internal Fed Rotary Drum Screen is a high-efficiency drum filter in which wastewater is fed from inside the drum and separated to the outside, providing gentle flow that reduces the break-up of flocs and fragile solids. The screening basket is inside and the structure is entirely stainless steel, designed with a tightly sealed cover so odour can be controlled. It is suitable for wastewater containing soft or fibrous solids.

The Bar Screen / Mechanical Bar Screen is a screening machine for capturing large solids in the first stage of a wastewater treatment system, with a rake unit that sweeps waste off the screen bars automatically and continuously. Bar spacing can be selected from 5–50 mm, supporting channel widths of 400–3,000 mm. It is made of coated steel, galvanised steel, or SUS304 stainless steel, helping prevent clogging of pumps and sump pits while reducing labour in waste handling.

The Screw Screen / Spiral Screen combines screening, conveying, dewatering and solids discharge in a single machine. It operates automatically in an enclosed system, helping reduce the volume and moisture of the waste as well as odour and contact. It is suitable for use as a preliminary screening device in wastewater treatment systems.

Rectangular / Horizontal DAF is a dissolved air flotation system for primary wastewater treatment, helping separate FOG and SS and reduce BOD/COD with microbubbles that carry the sludge up to the water surface. It can reduce FOG/SS by more than 90%, BOD by more than 30% and COD by more than 20%, supporting flow rates of 1–1,000 m³/hr, and integrates the Coagulation–Flocculation system and the bubble generation unit into a single platform. The structure can be selected as either FRP-coated steel or SUS304/316.

Superficial DAF, a dissolved air flotation system designed with a shallow tank that uses about 40% less installation area than conventional systems, focusing on separating floated sludge at the water surface. Suitable for limited spaces and for adding to existing systems, complete with a built-in micro bubble generation system and automatic sludge scraper blades. It removes more than 90% of FOG and SS and efficiently reduces BOD/COD.

Micro Bubble Pump, an innovative pump that draws in and dissolves gas into water within the pump itself at the same time in a single unit, delivering a gas dissolution efficiency of up to 90–100%. It can generate Nano-Micro Bubbles stably and continuously, making it suitable for use in DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) wastewater treatment systems.

About our wastewater treatment
systems and related equipment
DAF removes 85–95% of grease and handles far larger volumes than a conventional grease trap, which manages only around 40–60%.
No. If solids are the main issue — vegetable scraps, bones, cotton wool, branches — a screen alone (static or rotary) is enough.
Not much. It is a compact micro-bubble system that takes a fraction of the space of older designs, and it can be laid out to suit your site.
No — it is not the final stage. It does cut COD/BOD by 30–50% and remove grease and solids, so the main treatment system works far more easily.
No. It cleans itself automatically; you only need routine inspections.
