Membrane Bioreactor combines biological treatment and membrane filtration in a single tank, replacing the sedimentation tank and producing high-quality clear water. Suitable for wastewater treatment systems and water reuse, it supports Flat Sheet and Hollow Fiber membranes with a pore size of 0.03–0.1 μm, made of PVDF, PES and PTFE, which are hydrophilic and fouling-resistant, efficiently filtering out TSS and bacteria.

Working Principle: Membrane Bioreactor
  • 1. The membrane is submerged in the biological tank.
  • 2. Water is drawn through the 0.03–0.1 μm pores at low pressure, while solids, bacteria, and biological sludge are retained in the tank.
  • 3. High-quality clarified permeate is produced.
  • 4. Aeration at the base of the module makes the membranes flutter and creates turbulent flow that scours the membrane surface to prevent fouling.
